But what’s the meaning behind the design, lets dive right in:

🏠 All members of the Madrigal Family are featured as butterflies

🦋 We chose the butterflies because they symbolize Mirabel's transformation and ultimate acceptance of herself, and also how the house serves as the protective cocoon of the Madrigals.

👵🏻 Abuela is the biggest butterfly, and the closest to the quote as a way of representing how she’s saying the quote to everyone.

✨The three siblings, are the other three bigger butterflies which in comparison to the small ones, their wings have more complex designs to show how they have blossom into their own selves, and Bruno being at the bottom as he has distance himself from the family but still following the trail the butterflies leave.

🐛 And finally, the grandchildren, scattered across the design and pointing to different directions as they still are figuring themselves out and their path in life, worth mentioning that the butterfly on top represents Mirabel who will now guide the family on the days to come.
